His career spans both retained search and project-based talent advisory, working with organisations from global enterprises to scaling Belgian businesses. He has seen every variation of the transactional model โ multiple agencies on the same mandate, CVs sent without context, placements treated as endpoints โ and built Vector as the deliberate counterweight.
A pragmatist by default, Michel combines deep market knowledge with a healthy resistance to recruitment theatre. He believes the best engagements start with sharp calibration, end with verified integration, and are honest about everything in between.
Beyond the search work, he is hands-on with AI agents and workflow automation โ applying the same principle to recruitment infrastructure as to candidate conversations: less noise, more signal.
